Law Clerk

Messer Fort, PLLC (MF) hires 2L or 3L law clerks to assist our attorneys and paralegals, while also providing them valuable real-world experience and interaction with their desired field of study.

We represent numerous cities and towns in the DFW, Austin, Houston, and Abilene areas, and specialize in municipal law including land use, employment law, litigation, real estate law, and various other types of law as it relates to the representation of cities, towns, and certain other local government entities.

The responsibilities of the law clerk position would primarily be legal research, ordinance and contract drafting, analysis of municipal issues, and occasional attendance/observation at municipal court, city council meetings, and civil court dockets.

The firm currently uses a partial work from home policy.
