Jonathan Moss

PRACTICE DESCRIPTION

Jonathan Moss has over a decade of legal experience representing cities, economic development corporations, and private sector clients. He has advised municipalities on a wide range of matters, including economic development, real estate matters, land use, commercial and public leases, hiring and disciplining employees, investigations of employee complaints, elections, public information, open meetings, municipal prosecution, competitive bidding/procurement, and general governance.

PERSONAL

Jonathan received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas in 2007, and he earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center in 2013. As a law student, Jonathan served in internships for two Texas Courts of Appeals and for two different District Attorneys’ offices. Prior to joining Messer Fort, Jonathan served as a municipal attorney for a large city and as a tax consultant in federal and state tax matters for a wide variety of corporate clients.
