PRACTICE DESCRIPTION

Lance earned a Master's Degree from Harvard University in 2015, a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in 2013, and a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Government and Anthropology in 2009. Prior to joining Messer, Rockefeller, & Fort, he worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Comal County District Attorney's Office handling misdemeanor and felony cases and as an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Texas Attorney General. Lance currently serves as a Captain and Judge Advocate in the US Army Reserve serving in Germany as well as domestic posts.

A seventh-generation Texan, Lance was born in Texarkana, Texas and grew up in Coppell, Texas. He graduated from Coppell High School in 2006. Lance is active in his Masonic Lodge and enjoys weightlifting. He played Division 1 rugby and was on the 2013 national championship winning team.
